The Water Flow Meter is a high-precision flanged instrument designed for accurate volumetric flow measurement across a wide range of water-based applications. Built on the proven Woltmann turbine principle, it delivers reliable, continuous measurement in demanding industrial and commercial environments.

Design and Construction

The meter operates on the Woltmann turbine principle, in which a helical rotor is set in motion by the flowing medium. The rotational speed of the rotor is directly proportional to the flow velocity, enabling precise volumetric calculation. This mechanical design ensures long-term stability and minimal maintenance requirements.

Flanged connections conforming to PN16 and PN25 pressure ratings allow straightforward integration into existing pipework. The meter is available in nominal diameters from DN15 to DN200, covering a broad spectrum of flow capacities. The meter body is manufactured in either cast iron or stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance suited to potable water, treated effluent, and chemically mild media.

An integrated display unit combines a totalizer for cumulative volume registration with a real-time flow rate readout. The register is sealed against moisture ingress and can be read without interrupting the flow, reducing operational downtime during routine inspections.
