Wall-Mounted Jib Crane – 500 kg WLL

Wall-mounted jib cranes offer a highly efficient lifting solution for fixed workstations where floor space is at a premium. Unlike free-standing gantry cranes, which require dedicated floor anchoring and occupy valuable working area, wall-mounted jib cranes attach directly to a structural wall or column, keeping the floor clear and allowing operators to move freely beneath the load. This makes them ideal for assembly lines, welding bays, machine-tending stations, and any application where a defined, repetitive lifting zone is required.

Proper installation begins with identifying a suitable structural wall or reinforced column capable of bearing the combined static and dynamic loads of the crane and its rated capacity. The mast and bracket assembly is secured using a precisely engineered anchor bolt pattern, which must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's load charts and local structural codes. The mast transfers all bending moments into the wall structure, while the upper and lower brackets distribute the load across multiple anchor points, ensuring a rigid and stable mounting that minimises deflection during operation.

Wall-mounted jib cranes are available with a standard 180° slewing arc, with an optional 270° configuration available where greater coverage is required. The full-length I-beam jib accommodates both electric and manual chain hoists as well as push-travel or motorised trolleys, providing flexible load handling to suit varying production demands. Their robust construction and smooth slewing action make them particularly well suited to repetitive lifting tasks in workshops, fabrication shops, and production areas, where consistent performance and minimal downtime are essential.
