Product Overview

The ZERUST® ICT®510-C Multimetal VCI Film is a high-performance corrosion protection packaging solution engineered for industrial applications across the Gulf and Middle East. Designed to protect a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, this film integrates proven Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) technology directly into the packaging material, eliminating the need for messy rust-preventive oils or coatings.

How VCI Technology Works

VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) technology works by releasing a controlled concentration of corrosion-inhibiting molecules into the enclosed air space around a metal part. These molecules form an invisible, monomolecular protective layer on all exposed metal surfaces — including recessed areas and complex geometries that are difficult to coat manually.

When the packaging is opened, the protective layer dissipates harmlessly, leaving the metal clean and ready for immediate use — no degreasing, wiping, or additional cleaning steps required.
