The strainer body is manufactured from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), a thermoplastic material renowned for its outstanding resistance to a broad spectrum of aggressive chemicals, acids, and alkalis. CPVC maintains structural integrity at elevated temperatures where standard PVC would soften, making it the preferred choice for demanding chemical and industrial environments.

Stainless Steel Mesh Screen

The internal filtration element is a 316 stainless steel mesh screen available in 20 to 100 mesh configurations. This range allows users to select the appropriate filtration fineness for their specific application — from coarse debris removal to finer particulate filtration. The stainless steel construction ensures the screen resists corrosion even when exposed to the same aggressive media handled by the CPVC body.

End Connections and Size Range

Available in sizes from 1/2" to 3", the CPVC Y Strainer accommodates a wide range of pipeline configurations. Drain Plug for Easy In-Line Cleaning
