Float Valve

The float valve is a mechanical device designed for automatic water level control in a wide range of liquid storage and distribution systems. When the water level drops, the float descends and opens the valve to allow water to flow in; as the level rises, the float lifts and closes the valve, preventing overflow without any external power or control system.

Construction & Materials

The valve body is available in both brass and stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance suitable for potable water and industrial applications. A spherical float ball is mounted on an adjustable arm, allowing the shut-off water level to be precisely set on site. The robust construction ensures long service life with minimal maintenance.

Connection & Sizing

Float valves are available with both BSP (British Standard Pipe) and NPT (National Pipe Thread) threaded connections, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of pipework standards. Performance & Ratings

These valves are rated for a maximum working pressure of up to 6 bar, making them suitable for mains-pressure and elevated-tank installations. They are approved for use with potable (drinking) water, meeting hygiene and material safety requirements for domestic and commercial water supply systems.
