Overview

Product Overview

Our Standard Flanges range offers a comprehensive selection of pipe flanges manufactured to internationally recognised standards, including PN10, PN16, PN25, and PN40 (DIN 2501) as well as ANSI B16.5 pressure classes 150, 300, and 600. Designed for reliable, leak-free connections in demanding industrial environments, these flanges are available in a wide variety of materials, sizes, facing types, and end configurations to suit virtually any piping system requirement.

Applicable Standards

All flanges in this range are produced in strict conformance with the following standards:

  • PN10 / PN16 / PN25 / PN40 — European pressure-nominal series per DIN 2501
  • ANSI B16.5 Class 150 / 300 / 600 — American National Standard for pipe flanges and flanged fittings

Dimensional tolerances, bolt-hole patterns, and pressure-temperature ratings are fully compliant with the respective standard, ensuring interchangeability and ease of installation with third-party components.

Material Options

Flanges are available in the following materials to accommodate a broad range of process media and environmental conditions:

  • Carbon Steel (CS) — A105 / A350 LF2; suitable for general-purpose and high-pressure applications
  • Stainless Steel 304 / 316 / 316L — Excellent corrosion resistance for chemical and hygienic services
  • Ductile Iron — Cost-effective option for water and wastewater distribution systems

Size Range

The range covers nominal pipe sizes from 1/2" to 64" (DN 15 to DN 1600), making it suitable for small-bore instrumentation lines through to large-diameter transmission pipelines. Custom sizes outside this range can be quoted on request.

Facing Types

Three standard facing configurations are available to match gasket and sealing requirements:

  • Raised Face (RF) — The most common facing type; compatible with spiral-wound and ring gaskets
  • Flat Face (FF) — Used where mating flanges are of lower-strength materials such as cast iron
  • Ring Joint (RTJ) — High-integrity metal-to-metal seal for elevated pressure and temperature service

Flange Types

Five standard flange configurations are stocked to cover the full spectrum of piping connection needs:

  • Weld Neck (WN) — Butt-welded to pipe; ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature, and cyclic-load service
  • Slip-On (SO) — Slipped over pipe and fillet-welded; economical and easy to align
  • Blind (BL) — Used to close the end of a piping system or pressure vessel opening
  • Threaded (TH) — Screwed onto pipe without welding; suitable for low-pressure, non-cyclic applications
  • Lap Joint (LJ) — Used with stub ends; allows free rotation for bolt-hole alignment

Typical Applications

This flange range is widely used across multiple industries and process systems:

  • Oil & Gas — Upstream wellheads, midstream pipelines, and downstream refinery piping
  • Water Treatment — Potable water, desalination, and wastewater treatment plants
  • Chemical Processing — Corrosive media handling using stainless steel grades
  • HVAC — Chilled water, heating, and ventilation distribution systems

Quality & Compliance

All flanges are manufactured under a certified quality management system and are supplied with full material traceability documentation. Mill test reports (MTRs) conforming to EN 10204 3.1 are available upon request. Products undergo dimensional inspection, hydrostatic testing where applicable, and surface finish verification prior to despatch, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.
