The Tube Cutting Tool is a precision hand tool engineered for making clean, square cuts on instrument and process tubing used in industrial, analytical, and fluid-handling applications. Its compact, ergonomic body provides a secure grip in confined spaces, making it well suited for panel installations, skid fabrication, and field maintenance work.

The tool operates on a ratchet mechanism that advances the hardened cutting wheel incrementally with each squeeze of the handle, eliminating the need to rotate the cutter around the tube. This ratchet action reduces the force required per stroke and allows the tool to be used in tight or restricted areas where a full rotation would be impractical. A standard wheel-cutting mode is also available for open-access situations where continuous rotation is preferred.

Compatible materials include stainless steel (SS), copper, and aluminum tubing, covering the most common tube types found in instrumentation and process systems. The cutting capacity spans 3 to 50 mm outside diameter (OD), accommodating a wide range of tube sizes from small-bore instrument lines to larger process connections. The hardened cutting wheel maintains a sharp, consistent edge over extended service life, ensuring repeatable cut quality across all compatible materials.

Each tool is supplied with an integrated deburring blade, allowing the operator to remove internal burrs and sharp edges from cut tube ends immediately after cutting. Proper deburring is essential for achieving leak-free connections with compression fittings and for preventing damage to seals and ferrules during assembly. The combined cutting and deburring capability in a single tool reduces the number of items required in a technician's kit.
