Vertical Air Curtain

A vertical air curtain is a climate-control device installed above or alongside doorways to create an invisible, high-velocity air barrier between indoor and outdoor environments. By projecting a continuous stream of air across the opening, it prevents the exchange of temperature, dust, insects, and airborne contaminants — maintaining interior comfort while keeping energy costs low.

Technical Highlights

This unit is available with either centrifugal or axial fan configurations, allowing it to be matched to the specific airflow and noise requirements of each installation. The slim vertical profile accommodates a width range of 600 to 1500 mm, making it suitable for a broad variety of doorway sizes.

Air velocity is adjustable between 6 and 10 m/s, ensuring effective coverage for doorways up to 3 metres in height. The unit operates on a standard 230V / 1Ph / 50Hz power supply and carries an IP20 protection rating, confirming its suitability for indoor commercial environments. Both horizontal and vertical air discharge orientations are supported, providing flexibility during installation.
